Art washes from the soul the dust of everyday life.
I wish I wrote that.
I love the way it makes me feel.
The smell of the paint, markers, paper and glue.
I love when students say “Mrs. Murray is this my ART DAY!”
Art makes people happy.
There are no mistakes.
There are rules but no mistakes.
Next time we have a School Improvement Day, I’ll take every stressed out teacher and give them an hour of ” Purposeful Art”….and all will be well in their world.

To me, art is sacred, coming from a holy place of divine creativity. (dont make fun of me. I get carried away.) I love it. And I’m so thankful your colorful presence paints my world. (gah. don’t make fun of me! :))

Well hello there, Yoda. I felt you around the other day, but hadn’t found you here just yet. Username perfection as per you. And now I have and so much to read. Art all day every day would be a dream of mine. I love “there are rules, but no mistakes” and “follow your art.” I miss having art with you everyday 🙂

I flat out miss your presence. Part of my heart is missing waiting for you to come back. That’s not going to happen and I’m going to move on so we have to make this work. 🙂

Same. I promise I haven’t seen any other art teachers though. NO other teachers at all. I’ve got the same void. I’m up to work here. 🙂
